Rossmar School is set within mature parkland on the boundary of Limavady, close to other primary and post‑primary schools in the town.

Rossmar is a co‑educational special school catering for children and young people aged 4 to 19 years with a wide range of moderate and severe learning difficulties. Pupils may be admitted at any stage of their educational journey once a need has been identified.

All admissions are made through referral from the Educational Psychology Service of the relevant Education Authority, and all pupils have a Statement of Special Educational Needs. From our youngest pupils to young adults in our post‑16 provision, each learner is supported through a bespoke Individual Education Plan, including appropriate therapeutic input, designed to meet their identified needs and to prepare them for life beyond school.
