Year 11/12b

Welcome to YR11/12B!


We are a Year 11/12 class of ten pupils, two girls and eight boys.  The class teacher is Miss McClelland and the classroom assistants is Mrs Elaine Cummings and Lynn McMichael.


This class follow a programme which is designed to maximise the potential of each child in the class.  The programme allows the children opportunities to develop as individuals, as members of the school community and as members of the wider community. 



The class will complete the following qualifications over a two year period:


CCEA Entry Level

Learning for Life and Work (LLW), Art and Design, Physical Education (PE), Literacy and Numeracy as well as Science or Home Economics (HE)


Occupational studies

Looking After Children, Catering/Hospitality, ICT or Haircare as well as attending the NWRC to complete units in car valeting and construction.


This class will be taking part in work experience this year, YR 11 will complete 1 week and the YR12's will complete 2 weeks.  This class has a reputation for being a very helpful and hard working class.  We hope you enjoy our page.
