Horizons

The Horizons Programme offers extended provision for post sixteen pupils who wish to pursue up to three years of continued education beyond the statutory requirements. It is the intention that Horizons pupils partake in a wide range of core educational and vocational learning activities. In Horizons, pupils participate in Essential Skills Literacy and Numeracy, complete accredited units in a variety of vocatinal subjects, such as Careers, Life Skills and Occupational Studies. Our pupils can attend up to two days of community Work Experience placement each week. For those whom a community placement is not suitable, we have started a number of enterpises in school that the pupils run on a Thursday and Friday. Click below to see some pictures.
