Duke of Edingburgh’s Award – Rossmar School
Duke of Ed requires pupils aged 14+ to complete volunteering, skill and physical sections within an allotted time, a practise and an expedition in unknown terrain.
It is a brilliant experience and opportunity for pupils to learn like skills and develop independence. Especially taking responsibility for your own learning and achievements, pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone. Allowing pupils to work together and be outdoors are beneficial for all.
Duke of Ed was established in Rossmar January 2019. To date, twenty-two pupils have achieved their Bronze Award and eight pupils have achieved their Silver. This is a brilliant achievement for Rossmar pupils.
Registration October 2022
Bronze - 5 KS4 pupils.
