The Horizons Programme offers extended provision for post sixteen pupils who wish to pursue up to three years of continued education beyond the statutory requirements. It is the intention that Horizons pupils partake in a wide range of core educational and vocational learning activities. In Horizons, pupils participate in Essential Skills Literacy and Numeracy, complete accredited units in a variety of vocatinal subjects, such as Careers, Life Skills and Occupational Studies. Due to COVID restrictions, our pupils have not been able to go out on Work Experience placements; however, we have started a number of businesses in school that the pupils run on a Monday and Tuesday.
