Rossmar is situated on mature parkland on the boundary of Limavady and in close proximity to the other Primary and Post Primary schools in the town.

Rossmar is a co-educational Special School which caters for children with a wide range of learning difficulties, both moderate and severe and encompasses the age range of four to nineteen years. Admission is at any stage in a child's career where a need is identified.

All admissions come via referral from the Educational Psychology Service of the relevant Education and Library Board and all pupils have a Statement of Special Educational Needs.  From our pupils of pre-school age to our more mature young adults of the post 16 unit, all are offered a uniquely tailored individual education plan which will include the requisite therapies to meet the defined needs within their statement of special educational needs and to prepare them for life after school.
