Welcome to Rossmar Special School. It is a pleasure to introduce you to our vibrant, caring, and inclusive school community, where we proudly support pupils aged 3 to 19 on their individual learning journeys.

At Rossmar, our ethos is built on creating a welcoming, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child is valued for who they are. We are committed to ensuring that all pupils are supported to reach their fullest potential, both academically and personally.

Our core values of respect, kindness, and individuality guide all that we do. We celebrate each child’s unique strengths and personality, encouraging independence, confidence, and positive experiences within a safe and caring school community. Every pupil is encouraged to explore, grow, and shine in their own way.

I am immensely proud to be part of a school where staff work together with dedication and compassion to support every child. Our team is united in the belief that all pupils should be recognised and celebrated for their talents and abilities.

Collaboration is central to our work. We are fortunate to work closely with parents and carers, Allied Health Professionals, outside agencies, local schools, and the wider community. Together, we ensure that Rossmar Special School continues to grow as an integral, valued, and engaged part of both our local area and the wider community around us; ‘our school motto reflects this goal ‘Together, we grow, learn and succeed.’
