Good times suggestions/ideas
Whenever you are all at home and wish you could do something, go somewhere, treat yourselves, see family, visit a new place or invite people to visit you, write it down on a post-it and place it into a jar. When all this is over it can be a bucket list of things you can all do together as a family. Just work your way through the jar and everyone will be more grateful than ever for the little and lovely things in our lives.
Until then sit back and enjoy watching the jar fill up with magical things to look forward to!

Message from Mrs Archibald
A useful suggested website
Rosemary from AAIS (Autism Advisory & Intervention Service) was in touch with me this morning and gave me a link which is useful for staff and parents during this time and can hopefully point parents in the right direction for home support during this time. Below is the link which she gave me, if you could also share it on seesaw to your parents that would be great.

Pupil Toilet Roll Challenge Video
Email Mrs Archibald a short video to email@example.com
Pupils to catch a thrown toilet roll from the pupils right hand side and throw towards the pupils left hand side.
The staff video is on facebook using the following link https://YouTube.be/cvxPwRNvnlk
Nurture UK resources
The above link explains some of Nurtureuk's resources. 60 mindful minutes we use in school regularly with pupils to relax, be in the moment and think about the positive things in their lives.
The following resource can be used to keep as a resource for the future to look back at what you got up to or did during lockdown 2020.
If the link doesn't work just search for lockdown diary, there are several examples that you can use.

School Counselling Service
Mrs Archibald has asked staff to remind parents that school is at present still able to provide the school counselling service.
If your child would like to avail of this service please contact Mrs Archibald on the school telephone number or school email address.
The Snug Breakfast Challenge is ongoing this week.
Any other keen pupils and staff (Jill) wanting to make breakfast, with supervision please give it a try and forward me any photos to share on The Snug webpage.
The second part of the challenge was to prepare breakfast for someone. This would be a brilliant life skill and also a lovely act of kindness for someone else at this time.
Happy eating :)
